As I mentioned before, I believed that if I were to live a religious life it would be dull, boring and absolutely no fun at all.
This, I have found, is so very far from the truth. I also alluded to the fact that practising Christianity is not practicing religion. It is developing a relationship with the one, true living God.
Not that I completely understand all the ways, concepts and guidelines of God or completely understand the why behind His statutes, but I do firmly believe that there is a God, a God who loves me, and one who wants the very best for me.
Not only that , but He wants the very best for every one. His desire is that all people would turn and trust in Him so that He can bless them and guide them through the life that He has planned for them. Read in Jeremiah, chapter 29 and verse 11 how God has a plan for our lives that will be for our benefit, for our well being, giving us a great future filled with hope.
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
